The Matter presence sensor uses 24GHz wideband radar to detect static occupancy and breathing. The presence sensor keeps the room "occupied" while a guest sleeps or sits — a true presence sensor where PIR presence sensors fail.
The presence sensor detects gross movement up to 10m and breathing-level micro-motion up to 2.5m with a 120° field of view — the Matter presence sensor covers large rooms from one ceiling mount.
The Matter presence sensor uses Thread networking that delivers low-latency, self-healing mesh for whole-building presence sensor fleets — the presence sensor network stays connected at scale.
DC5V input for OEM integration of this presence sensor into powered fixtures and USB-powered installations. The Matter presence sensor ships with a power adapter for retrofits.
